At Surrey Chapel we try to look out for one another. Through friendships and our house-based groups, much of the time it just happens. But there are situations where extra, or specialised, help or advice is needed concerning spiritual or personal issues. Our Pastoral Care Team is there to help with such matters, so far as we can.
The Pastoral Care Team includes those with a variety of pastoral responsibilities and specialist skills (including professional counselling), but can also draw on the help of others in the church to address a wide range of issues. Also, where necessary or appropriate, we may be able to recommend other Christians or local agencies providing specialist skills.
If help with a manual task would benefit a particular situation, the Pastoral Care Team will liaise with SCAW (Surrey Chapel at Work) to see what might be arranged.
Whatever the issue, an appropriate level of confidentiality will always be respected.
