For the Golden Age – ‘Surrey Seniors’
Friendship and Support
Like any family, here at Surrey Chapel, we’re made up of people of all ages. If you are an older person and you’ve retired from work or you’re otherwise free on a Friday afternoon, we’d love you to join us. You’ll get the chance to meet and make new friends with people of a similar age as we enjoy a social time together.
What To Expect
Our ‘Surrey Seniors’ group usually meets for a couple of hours at Surrey Chapel on the third Friday of every month at 2.00pm. We arrange a variety of activities – our guest speakers provide presentations covering a wide range of current, historical, humorous or serious topics. They might share their knowledge of historical events, like the Titanic experience, or share their skills and expertise of food or travel. It’s sure to be varied and interesting.
Of course, we always make sure we spend time sharing refreshments and an opportunity to chat and make new friends.
Copies of the programme for the current year are available by clicking here or you can pick up a paper copy in the Chapel.
Come Along
You do not have to be “Senior” to come and if you are interested in any of the topics listed in the programme you are welcome to just turn up
We are a friendly bunch and love getting to know new people, so why not come along and give us a try, we are confident that you will enjoy it!
